Terms of Service

1. General

Welcome to BeFocus (the “system”, “service”, “we”), clinical management software for optical businesses. Use of the service is subject to the terms below. By using the service, you fully agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

BeFocus provides a cloud-based system for managing customers, eye exams, prescriptions, orders, inventory, appointments, and communications for optical businesses. The service is provided as a paid monthly subscription after a trial period.

3. Subscription, Payments and Billing

• The service is offered as a recurring monthly subscription.
• After the free trial period, billing is charged in advance for each subscription period.
• Payments are processed through secure payment providers (HYP for customers in Israel, Paddle for international customers).
• The subscription renews automatically each period unless cancelled before renewal.
• You may cancel the subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Refund Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Payments for subscription periods already used are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. In case of an incorrect charge, please contact us and we will handle it promptly.

5. User Responsibility

• The user is responsible for keeping account access details confidential.
• The user agrees to use the service lawfully and only for legitimate purposes.
• The user is responsible for the accuracy and legality of information entered into the system, including medical information of customers.
• Misuse, hacking attempts, or disruption of the service are prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the service, including code, design, logo, and content, belong to BeFocus. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially use the service without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” (AS-IS). We make efforts to maintain high availability and reliability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Subject to law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

8. Privacy Protection

Use of the service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Service.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material updates will be sent to you by email and published on this page. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute will be granted to the competent courts in the Central District.
